Carnival Cove

Reminiscent of the early turn of the 20th century carnivals complete with themed games, rides and fun foods. Belle Island Village will feature rides for the whole family to enjoy. These rides are the first of their kind in the area, they include: a twister coaster, a fabulous swing ride, terrifying tower drops, adorable children’s rides and more.

Carnival Cove will include a variety of rides that have been specifically selected to deliver family thrills to the resort. The family adventures continue with rides that drop, pop, bounce, rock, twist and spin. There will also be rides for the little ones to enjoy. The rides pictured below are a small sample of the thrill rides we offer at Belle Island Village.

Twister Coaster
The most unique coaster in the Smokies! Our coaster features an action-packed course full of "over the edge" switchback turns and exciting rapid-fire drops, sure to please every member of the family. Halfway through the ride, the four passenger coaches are sent into a spinning frenzy where gravitational forces and inertia allows each and every ride to offer a different experience! Plus, with an innovative "half moon" configuration, the Twister Coaster allows a family of four to ride in the same row side-by-side. You will want to ride again and again!

Family Swing Ride
Inspired by one of history’s very first rides, this family ride is a wild giant, swing ride that spins around a rising tower as you soar through the sky. This exciting ride moves in an oscillating, wavelike motion after the top rises telescopically, tilting at its peak while flinging riders of young and old into the cool mountain breeze!
